Commitment

The spring season is our most comprehensive season in Madlax. We also feel it is the greatest value as we offer 20-30 practices and 10-15 games per team.  For this reason it is also the season in which Madlax players improve the most!

It is spring...the main lacrosse season! We expect commitment from players and parents to attend all practices and games over all other sports including VA rec teams.  Practices can be any day of the week in the spring except Friday so plan accordingly.  Capital players are absolutely required to make all practices and games or risk being moved to DMV Teams. DMV players should make every effort to attend all practices and games as well but are not absolutely required.  The best DMV teams have full commitment!

If you play rec/town league lacrosse in VA rec you still CAN play on a Madlax spring team because our league games are on Sundays for 2nd-6th graders and VA REC is always Saturdays. 7th and 8th graders play Madlax league games on Saturdays so VA rec may be very difficult.  Madlax does support all town/rec youth leagues in VA, DC and MD and we do our best to schedule around those games however there may be practice and game conflicts. Again, we expect Capital players to make Madlax their priority in the spring over JV and Rec Teams.

As important for Capital players is to NOT miss practices or games for optional spring break vacations. If your son take a spring break vacation and misses events, he will likely not play in the following game and could be moved to DMV also.

Thanks for your support and commitment of Madlax in the spring!
