The High School Orange team finished 3rd in the Pacific Surf Tournament despite missing players who are playing with the Madlax National Team in Maryland.  The team forged together and finished with some positive results.

Saturday the team opened play against the Sacramento Aces Elite.  In a back and forth game, the team came up just short losing 7-5.  However, they bounced back to play the defending champs, ADVNC, to a 4-4 tie in a game that featured some great defense!  In their final game of the day the team finished yet again in a 4-4 tie to Tribe 831 as the defense had another strong performance.

After finishing Saturday with 2 ties, the team needed a strong Sunday to compete for the championship.  They got that with the offense exploding for nine in the first game and eight in the second.  With strong offense and more excellent goaltending by Ethan Baer (2015) and Cary Goeller (2015) the team was able to win 9-4 against Sacrament Aces Impact and 8-3 against Aces East Bay.

It was yet another excellent weekend for the HS Orange team as the team featured multiple assisted goals and had over 7 different scorers including Max Hoppe who played up from the HS Blue team.  HS Orange has practices for the next two weeks before heading to Maryland to compete in FLG by 3D.
