2019 Madlax National Team Takes Gold at the World Games

The 2019 Madlax National team won the World Lacrosse Fesitval Championship in Denver, Co. this week, beating Denver Elite 5-4 in the semi-final to earn the championship berth. Team Madlax showed very impressive focus and IQ to pace the game versus NJ South, earning a 8-6 win!

Coach Maddux, Coach Boothe, and Coach Marriott kept the peddle to the metal the entire tournament; Madlax outscored their opponents 79-15 to garnish an 8-0 record. 

The National Team was paced by goalie Tim Marcille, Faceoff man Rory Bracken, LSM/D Michael Grogan and attackman Taylor Musa, but the depth of talent was most impressive to the coaches. 

Madlax-Cali's Todd Evans (attack) joined the National Team and coaches were impressed with his showing. Coach Marriott on Madlax-Cali's Todd Evans, "Todd proved to be a good finisher and potted several goals for us. stepping into a completely new team smoothly."

"All in all, the players, families and coaches had a great experience and will have memories that last a lifetime. It's truly incredible that players from different programs throughout the country can come together and accomplish such a great achievement," were Coach Marriott's words to wrap up a truly breathtaking run in Denver, Co. at the World Lacrosse Festival.
