The Clippers used the exquisite goalie play of Adam Simon, allowing only six goals, to beat the Mohawks 7-6. Dominic Piombo didn’t seem to ever need a substitute for the Mohawks and played very well, giving his team the chance to win. Ian McKissick showed an incredible amount of grit, scooping countless loose-balls and created numerous 1-on-1 chances against goalie Simon. Adam Simon had Ian’s number most of the afternoon and saved 3 of 4 breakaway shots. These saves propelled the Clippers to their 1st win and they are now in control of their destiny!
