The Madlax U11 Orange team opened their season at the Platinum Prospects tournament in June.  Finishing the weekend 2-3, the team was hungry to get back to the winning side of things.  

Coach Jorgenson & Coach Kaehler put together a solid two week prep as the team prepared to take on stiff competition at the Lake Tahoe Tournament in Truckee.  

The team started off their games with a 9-6 loss to Sentry club from Texas.  However, that would be the last time they were on the short end of the ledger.  They would rattle off dominating victories against Napa Force (12-3) and Southern Marin Wolfpack Black (11-2) before heading into playoffs.

Playoffs put the Madlax team against Chaps Select (TX).  After a back and forth game, the team came out victorious 7-6.  Hungry to bring home the crown, the team came out fighting in their title tilt against Sentry, a rematch of an earlier loss.  The game was close throughout, with Madlax coming out victorious 7-6 to bring home the U11 crown.  It was an incredible game and hard fought victory.It was a great weekend with contributions from a variety of players.  Truly a team effort!  

The team will be back on the field this weekend as they head to the Battle of the Bay in San Francisco.
