Winter 2018-2019

MadLax Girls All-Stars Winter Season 2018-2019

For Advanced 3rd-10th Grade Girls

2020-2028 Graduation Years

More information below.

Madlax All-Stars have many outstanding lacrosse opportunities this winter. Please read the opportunities and details outlined below in the program. If you have a stick in your hands this winter we want it with your Madlax coaches and teammates, not in a local modified lacrosse league with a rec team. We need to stick together as a premier club and improve properly!  Winter is the season of the year to fine tune your skills, get stronger and get faster for the upcoming spring outdoor season. Madlax will help you achieve that.

If you are new and want to tryout to join Madlax Girls All-Stars you are welcome and that is great. New players can register to tryout this winter for Madlax Girls All-Stars if you are currently in 3rd-10th grades. We offer "rolling tryouts" all year until our rosters are full and strong and closed. We will simply evaluate and tryout players in workouts or in league games throughout the winter. Please email us to arrange a tryout

2018-2019 Winter Workouts - Madlax All-Stars

MADLAX Girls All-Stars Optional Winter Program

All-Star players are invited to participate in the Optional 2018-2019 Winter Season. The winter program includes Academy Winter Positional Sessions, optional clinics and optional league play. Players in 7th-11th grade have the option to compete on a Madlax team in the CGLL.

Madlax Academy Winter Positional Sessions (Jan/Feb)
In January and February, all Madlax players can participate in our Saturday morning positional training sessions. These sessions will divide players into attack, defense, midfield, and goalies and run position-specific skill and concept scenarios like draw controls, 50/50s at the restraining line, attacking from X, dodging, shooting, team defenses with backers and player up/down situations and more. Open to 5th-11th grade Madlax All-Stars only. Saturdays 10am-12pm at Ken Lawrence Park Field #2 (formerly Jones Branch Park) in Tysons, VA.

Madlax Winter Advanced Skills & Concepts Clinic & Goalie Clinic (Jan/Feb)
Players have the option to attend an indoor clinic held at Perfect Performance in Tysons, VA on Saturday afternoons in January and February. Registration is separate and can be found here.

Madlax Teams in the Capital Girls Lacrosse League (CGLL)
Registering for the winter program includes the option to roster on a Madlax indoor team and compete in the Capital Girls Lacrosse League (CGLL) on Sundays in December through February. Madlax will field two teams, one in the varsity division and one in the JV division. Space is limited to the first 18 registrants per team. The 2020s and 2021s (11th and 10th graders) will roster the varsity team and 2022-2024 (9th, 8th and 7th graders) will roster the JV team. Depending on the number of players looking to participate, we may have 9th graders play in the varsity division team. This will be decided by our Madlax director. We do not have a division for 5th/6th grade in the league at this time, but if the chance arises we will enter a team. Players rostering on a Madlax CGLL team for this winter will register separately and pay the CGLL player participation fee.

Madlax Pro Clinic Featuring Marie McCool, Sat., Feb. 16, 2019
Madlax is proud to partner with USA TEAM, UNC standout, and #2 Draft Pick in the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League Marie McCool! The Madlax Pro Clinic Featuring Marie McCool will be held at the Dulles Sportsplex on Saturday, February 16, 2016. The first session will be for Middle School and Youth players, and the second session will be for High School players. Space is limited and this clinic will sell out fast. Madlax All-Star players will have the first chance to register! Registration and payment information will be posted soon.
