Green Terror vs. Madlax Roughnecks: In the first game of the afternoon, the CBLL Green Terror pushed out to an early led, behind some fancy goals from Michael Richardson. The Roughnecks battled back in the second period, to pull within 3 after Charlie Ball scored his 2nd goal of the game, but the Green Terror were able to run out the clock for the win.

Madlax Stealth vs. Cavalier LC: The Stealth shot out to a 5-0 lead in the first half before Brady Carmical got the Cavaliers going before the half. The Stealth were too much in the second half however, behind Grady Gentile’s hat trick and Chris Rothenberger’s faceoff wins. Tyler Yoder was all over the field for the Cavaliers scoring in the second half and dominating ground balls.

Beach Dawgs vs. Cavalier Orange: From the first face off, the Beach Dawgs and Cavalier Orange brought the physicality. The game went back and forth on the scoreboard and totaled 12 penalty minutes in the first half with the Beach Dawgs leading 5-4 going into half time. The second half was just as chippy with plays being made all over the floor for both teams. Gabe Berzins had a slew of ground balls and 3 goals for the Beach Dawgs. However, after a total of 26 more penalty minutes and Bryan Berryhill scoring two of his four goals, Cavalier Orange held on for the 9-8 win.

Dulles South Storm vs. Evergreen LC: Evergreen pulled out to a 5-1 lead early in the first half behind Max Humphrey’s second goal, as they led Dulles South Storm 7-1 at the half. Bryce Gunn scored early for Dulles South and had 8 ground balls. Evergreen picked up where they left off the first half pulling away behind goals from EZ Christian, coasting to a 11-2 win.
Cavalier Blue vs. CBLL Rock: Cavalier Blue flew out to an early 4-1 lead behind goals by Chase Paschuck and Will Cramp. Kevin Miller scored a beautiful inside finish at the twelve minute mark to get the Rock on the board. However, a tough Cavalier Blue squad took an 10-2 lead into the half. Christian Daymude got things going in the second half for the Rock, starting a 2-0 run, but the Cavaliers came right back with two of their own, coasting to a 19-4 win. Matthew Han dominated face-offs throughout the game. This Cavalier Blue team is going to be a tough out for opposing teams.

Team 6 vs. CBLL Swarm: Quinn Grimes scored off a turnover for Team 6 starting a 2-0 run. Alex Washington got the Swarm on the board to make things 2-1. However, Team 6 was just too much to handle ad Jack Fletcher, Henry Fletcher, and Ryan Padgett all scored for Team 6, as they took a 9-1 halftime led. Finn Gelbach capped off a 3-0 run to start the second half for Team 6 as they rolled to a 18-1 win. Troy Capshaw had 17 saves for Team 6 in the win. They're looking like a serious contender for the title!

CBLL Wings vs. Cavalier LC: The wings opened up the scoring after a fast break goal by Jacob Pratt. A Wings turnover leads to score by Aiden Creech on the Cavaliers, tying things up at 1-1. The Wings return with an absolute cannon from the outside by Wyatt Marvill, bringing the score to 2-1,. With each team trading scores, the wings lead the first half 5-3. Jacob Pratt for the wings scored on a man up situation starting a scoring trick for the wings which brought the score to 13-5. The Cavaliers responded with low time zinger ending the game at 13-6.

Centreville/FC vs. Saxons: Centreville/Falls Church and the Saxons began as a defensive struggle, tied 1-1, until Josh Kruse scored for Centreville, on their way to a 3-1 halftime lead. John Marciano picked up the scoring for Centreville at 18:40 in the second half, then in a four-on-four situation, Reese Timms puts Centerville up 6-2 on their way to a 10-3 win. Cameron Goodloe had 2 goals for the Saxons in the loss.

Prince William Warriors vs. Evergreen LC: The Prince William Warriors started the game off strong with a 7 goal streak, Which was put to an end by Jack Williams with 6:57 left in the first half, Jake Allen brought the game to 7-2 not for a lack of Ethan Lakis maintaining a steady wall for the Warriors shots, the 1st half ended 10-2 for the Warriors. Paul vey opened up the second half with a nice inside finish narrowing the score to 10-3. After a period of back and forth shots with no avail, Warriors Jack Colosky brought the score to 11-3, followed by a Jack Fisher goal to make it 11-4, three successive scores by the Warriors were quickly answered by Evergreens Jack Williams, before time expired. Henry Shafer was the stand-out for the Warriors in the win. His 2 goals and assist added to his tough defensive prowess and ground-ball domination.

Cadets 2022 vs. South Lakes: Jackson Cook scored at 17:40 to put South Lakes up 3-0 to start the final CBLL game of the day. Blake Boyd got the Cadets on the board at 12:50 in the first and Gavin Kelly followed up to pull the Cadets to within 2. South Lakes and the Cadets traded goals in an up-and-down end to the half with the Cadets taking a 6-5 lead into halftime. The second half began with both teams trading fast-breaks until Luke Musser capped off a Cadets run, opening up a 3 goal lead halfway through the period. Gavin Kelly scored is 3rd goal with 7:30 left in the second, as the Cadets pulled away for the 14-9 win.
